Guided Waves represent a practical means of inspection for a variety of aircraft components, including the tear strap structure. The use of narrow band transducer with a small portable flaw detector, USN 50 unit of Krautkramer, and dry couplant make guided wave inspection a practical alternative to other methods.  Paul Meyer |
