RESUME
EDF mène depuis quelques années des études sur la caractérisation non destructive de
l'endommagement des matériaux. Cet article précise brièvement la démarche générale que
nous avons retenue dans le cadre de ces études et présente un exemple de développement :
l'évaluation non destructive du vieillissement thermique des aciers austénoferritiques.

Nondestructive characterization of materials damage : example(s) of studies carried out at EDF
For a few years, EDF has carried out studies on the nondestructive characterisation of the
materials damage. This paper describes briefly the general procedure followed in these studies
and presents an example : the nondestructive evaluation of the thermal ageing of cast duplex
stainless steels.
