RESUME
ORBISCAN effectue automatiquement le contrôle par ultrasons des soudures
circonférentielles des canalisations de transport de gaz ou d'hydrocarbures. Il intervient sur
chantier lors de la construction de ces ouvrages. ORBISCAN recherche tous les défauts liés
au soudage situés dans le volume soudé ou dans la ZAT par l'extérieur de la canalisation.
ORBISCAN est autonome quelles que soient les conditions du chantier et intervient sur tous
les terrains. Modulaire, ORBISCAN s'adapte aux différents outillages de soudage
automatisé. Complètement automatisé, il est servi par une équipe réduite. L'analyse se
déroule en temps réel et le rapport est délivré automatiquement dès la fin du contrôle. Les
enregistrements sont remis sous forme d'un CD-ROM.
ABSTRACT
Fast automatic testing of pipe butt weld
ORBISCAN automatically inspects pipelines girth welds. The system is to be used on-site
during fabrication of the pipelines.
ORBISCAN is dedicated for the detection of all defects related to the welding process, either in
the welded volume or in the HAZ. Inspection is carried out from the outer wall of the piping.
Packaged in a ISO 10' shelter, ORBISCAN features one full day autonomy on any type of site.
Its modular design makes it adaptable to the various tools of automatic welding.
Fully automated, it is serviceable by a reduced team. Analysis is carried out on-line in real time
and the examination report is automatically issued at the end of the inspection.
Recordings are collected on a CD-ROM.
