The leak-tightness verification is provided with helium leak detector. The special techniques base been developed to obtain high sensitivity during testing welded joints, tanks and other units. When fuel systems was fueled with ammonia leak detector with piezoquartz sensor was developed. Before leak testing vacuum heat treatment of units was used to open all through defects.
The technique developed is proved to provide high tightness of rockets after their refuelling,
