When using WINDOWS specific routines must be applied to compensate the missing real-time capabilities of this operation system.
Solutions to the real time capabilities of WINDOWS95 environment is presented.
Having solved this problem, WINDOWS95 offers its wide range of software for completion of tasks surrounding the only inspection task.
The test system is able, at low specific software effort, to take over further tasks of production control, graphic presentation of results, production optimization, and extended quality reports.
The results can be transferred to company mainframes at any common format.
Further, remote access to the system via a phone modem allows remote trouble shooting and maintenance and is thus capable of tremendously reducing down times of a system.
