Abstract
The system is related to the quali-quantitative evaluation of the "conservation state" of S. Maria del Cerreto church. This monument, very important from an historic-artistic point of view, has been consecrated in 1719 and is located in Capranica (Viterbo), close to Rome. The diagnostic study, carried out with different analytical methodologies (non- and pare-destructive testings, chemical analysis, has concerned: the materials composing the work of art, some canvas paintings and the microclimatic monitoring.
