Abstract
Two NDT methods, X-ray radiography and endoscopy, have been used to examine the construction and condition of some bronze lurs. The techniques used to assemble the lur tubes can be revealed by means of ordinary x-ray radiography and a panoramic x-ray exposure method. Endoscopy is used to examine the corrosion condition in the inner tube joints.
