The norm EN 473 was applied as basic standard.
Practical data were obtained by training, qualification examination and certification of NDT personnel from Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (Lithuania).
It was shown that the Russian certification system based on EN 473 may be concerted with NORDTEST system in the field of certification rules and procedures.
However, it is necessary to harmonize the requirements for examination specimen including those of specimen geometry, materials and defects types according to industrial sectors
To support professional skill of the personnel at the proper level the complex of effective methods and means for training at the working place was developed. Complex includes the computer system for training ultrasonic and radiographic methods. It can be applied at the stage of training for certification including distance training and at the stage of periodical testing of the personnel qualification level as well.
