Abstract
Software Data Bases and Expert Systems for the management of inspection and of non destructive testing have been developed. Their integration with reliable corrosion probes allows the continuous monitoring of the plant. A special section is dedicated to sketches and pipe-rack monitoring with relevant graphic capabilities. The on-line data insertion allows as a consequence the most convenient planning of necessary controls and corrective actions.
