Abstract
Thermographic or Infrared Imaging Inspection can be used in modern petrochemical industry as a comprehensive diagnostic tool in order to facilitate periodic and preventive maintenance. Unplanned equipment down-time can be reduced substantially, and the economical savings can easily cover the necessary inspection cost. (one shutdown saved will cover minimun a full years inspection costs). The poster will show examples of relevant applications for the petrochemical industry.
