Remotely Operated Ultrasonics for Sub-Sea Applications.

Abstract
Over the last years, Robit a.s. have developed an ultrasonic system for remote sub-sea operations. The system consists of an underwater computer including an ultrasonic system, motor controller(s) and various scanning tools.
The system have been used for a wide range of applications. They stretches from single thickness readings to 360° corrosion mapping of pipelines and bend sections. In addition to this, software have been developed and used for weld inspection.
