Abstract
The method solves the problems of ND inspection of heavy loaded press-fit joints. The physical principle of the method is based on the relation between the acoustic parameter and the mechanical behaviour of the contact layer. As a basic information parameter for determination of the average contact pressure are used the parameters of Stonley's wave which is propagated on the surface and under the surface contact layer. The aim of this paper is to propose the acoustical model for determining the parameters of Stonley'a wave in tribostructure. The obtained theoretical and experimental results is the basis of the nondestructive testing in railway factories. The nondestructive testing system involve the ultrasonic equipment and special type of transducer for generating and recieving of surface Stonley's waves. The tipical theoretical and experimental distributions of the contact pressure are presented in the figure. Fig. |
