The eddy current method allows to defin the state of own stressin ferromagnetic material.

For the purpose of evaluating the releif degree in the joint zone (changes of stress) devices of " Wirotest 202A adn 301 " are used. In this elaboration exmples of using devices for measuring own stress and that originating from outside loading, with the aid of the contact probe, have been presented.
