Abstract
The x-ray apparatus structure improvement by the application of magnetic methods of regulation is described. The measures allow to ensure physical, design and technological integration of the x-ray apparatus main circuit. The offered method has allowed essentially to simplify the x-ray apparatus main circuit, to reduce weight and dimensions of the apparatus, to increase sensitivity and reliability of the inspection and to ensure the apparatus control by a computer. The main principle is based on the operation of the transformer controlled by magnetic flow redistribution between magnetic commutation (TCMC), i.e. on the main transformer magnetic flow redistribution between magnetic circuits. The mock-up of the x-ray apparatus working by feeding 220V, 50-60 Hz is developed. Voltage on the x-ray tube - 150 kV, current - 5 mA, the monounit operating time: 10 minutes of activity, 1 minute an interruption. The x-ray apparatuses with TCMC have no overvoltages, radio engineering interferences, are simple and are convenient in maintenance.
