Abstract
Echo directivity was experimentally studied for surface SH Wave proves and SH Wave angle wave probes. Frequencies used in experiment were 5 and 2 MHz, angles of refraction 90° and 70°, crystal size 10x10mm and 5x5mm. The echo directivity was evaluated using side drilled holes at various depths. The experiment was a good agreement with a calculation based on a point sound source assumption on the test surface in different phase.
