Inspections were extended to all other nozzles in that vessel in to other similar vessels. This inspection showed that not only pipe elements, such as elbows, reducers, but also areas around nozzles in pressure vessels are possible location for erosion/corrosion process. Nuclear Power Plant Krsko is performing such program since 1996, and during that time 3 locations were revealed, where wall thickness was near or beyond allowable.
