The new Atomic Law has established the legal frame for ISI Qualification. The Plant Operator or the Authority should specify the scope and subject Qualification for the Inspection Organisation.

The main problems are to reach necessary organisation and technical level. Hungary has an excellent facility to perform the qualification -The Maintenance Training Centre in Paks. As a result of different Phare programs in the near future there will be available a set of test blocks for RPV and SG UT inspections. These test blocks will be situated in Czech Republic, but it will be accessible for Hungary and Slovakia too.

The set up Hungarian Qualification Body is under discussion.
