ABSTRACT
Established methods of weld quality assessment are bade on conventional non-destructive testing techniques (NDT) such as radiography and ultrasound, each in combination with acceptance criteria derived from the "Good Workmanship" (GWS) approach. In practice, this combination has amply demonstrated its suitability for ensuring sufficient weld integrity.
