ABSTRACT In the present contribution new developments in standardisation in the field of materials testing are presented. At first, the new system LIVELINK for the rapid internet access to all standards and standardisation projects in the DIN is highlighted. Furthermore, the new activities in standardisation of mechanical test procedures, in testing and calibration of materials test certificates are presented.
