Automation of nondestructive testing methods for civil engineering

ABSTRACT A multifunctional automatic scanning system for multiple non-destructive measurement methods was developed by BAM division IV.4. The modular, rail guided system can be used for the investigation of bridges or foundation slabs. Speed and accuracy are enhanced compared to conventional measurements, personnel costs reduced.
