Recent past history about stress corrosion cracking has emphasised the importance of NDT techniques in assuring the integrity of affected components. Mock-ups having flaws similar to the ones found in the actual components are necessary to qualify these NDT techniques. Often stress corrosion cracks present in a large variety of morphologies linked to specific locations, like in the inconel 600 MA alloy Steam Generator tubes. Consequently the number of cracks parameters that the NDT expert may want to have in the mock-up can be rather large: location, orientation, shape, depth, opening, single, multiple, etc. On the other hand, Stress corrosion cracking in the mock-up is developed under conditions of high temperature and pressure, which difficult the control of crack growth during sample manufactures. In this paper we present our mock-up manufacturing capabilities.
