Abstract:
The High Temperature Materials Laboratory (HTML) has several nondestructive examination techniques which have beck applied to numerous materials problems. These include a high-sensitivity, high speed, high resolution infrared camera, and an ultrasonic resonance spectrometer. AppLcedon of these instruments and defection of defects in thermal barrier coatings, varistor operation, and other problems will be described.
