The Application of NDT to Concrete Strength Estimation

FULL-TEXT - ABSTRACT In the non-destructive testes used to determine the compressive strength of concrete, the relationship between the measured, mechanical or physical characteristic and the strength is generally not unique. This arises from the diversity in the existing relations between the measured characteristic and the factors making up concrete strength, among others: cement contents, type of aggregates, bond between cement paste and aggregates and water cement ratio.
