| | With the tightening of the quality of wrought-steel wheels, a requirement that quenched wheels be subjected to ultrasonic testing before delivery to Mintyazhmash (Ministry of Heavy Machinery Manufacture, USSR) and MPS SSSR (Ministry of Railroads, USSR) was recently added to GOST 10791-8.1.Such wheels are used in both the construction and repair of railcars. |
