Abstract

In the article the monitoring of erosion/corrosion processes and their impact on wall thickness of particular parts of the pipeline is reported. Results of ultrasonic measurements of wall thickness on particular location of the auxiliary feed water pipeline, using a computer program CHECKMATE, are demonstrated The wall thinning is displayed numerically and graphically Based on an evaluation of the actual wear level it was conservatively decided to replace apart of the pipeline.
