A Metal Flaws Detecting Sensor Using Co - Based Amorphous Alloy

Abstract

A pulse-induction magnetic sensor that detects metal flaws is presented in this paper. The sensor uses Co-based amorphous alloy as its active element , which is induced by high frequency pulse cur-rent. The scheme of single picking up coil is put for-ward. According to the analysis of this structures and comparing with the data of experiment, this kind of amorphous magnetic sensor shows high sensitivity , good linearity , high accuray, it is adequate to detect micro magnetic flux leakage that is caused by micro flaws.
