Fetal Heart Rate (FHR) signal reflects an objective index on fatal heart physiological activity. The extraction
and processing to FHR is a key technology to monitor the fetal heart rate in the clinical management of
pregnancies antenna-tally. Aimed to the problem of the determination of FHR, we proposed a method for
adaptive noise cancellation, through adjusting weight to make mean square error minimum, using a LMS
algorithms of variable weight length and variable step-size together. It implements adaptive noise
cancellation system of FHR extraction, and overcomes match filter complication , it needs to establish
template. Through computer simulation analysis, it improves SNR and convergence rate, and resolves
effectively the problem of FHR real-time extraction.
