INJECTION OF REPAIRING MATERIALS TO CRACKS USING ULTRASONIC 
RECTANGULAR DIFFRACTION METHOD

There is a case in which crack and peeling are generated in the concrete structure.  The repair and 
reinforcement of the concrete structure will inject repairing materials in the concrete.  As the result, the 
structure becomes the prolonging life.  However, there is no report of which degree is injected into repairing 
materials for the crack division and the peeling division.
The repairing materials were injected into the cracks in this study.  The injection behavior was examined by 
rectangular diffraction method of the ultrasonic wave.  In the cracks, the filling of repairing materials can be 
evaluated by the direction and amplitude of the first wave of receiving wave. This waveforms from the 
abnormality divisions equal to the waveform of the soundness, when repairing materials were filled at the 
cracks.
