ABSTRACT
This paper presents selection, revision and adjustment of theory model, potential field, wave function and Hamilton operator of exchange interaction, and computation of exchange integral of element Gd number 64, and gives result of the computation. That the computation result is agreement with experiment result proves that it is correct to use exchange integral as criterion of ferromagnetism. The paper advances to use exchange integral J as parameter of quantitative indication of strength of ferromagnetism. And authors advance a tentative idea to use exchange integral as parameter of selection of magnetization standard in magnetic testing.
