Sample results for heat exchanger tubing includes the detection of axial EDM notches, flat bottom holes, and overall inspection results for 15 foot stainless steel heat exchanger tubes. The frequency response corresponding to varying levels of corrosion in heat exchanger tubing is also shown. Sample results for steam generator tubing include detection and characterization of circumferential notches within or near the tube sheet region. Finally, classification and characterization potential of flaws in tubing using neural networks is demonstrated.
