In view of above a first generation translate rotary CT scanner developed at this laboratory has been used to evaluate above mentioned statistical parameters.

The paper discusses the details of methodologies adopted and results obtained there on, and highlights the need for periodic monitoring of these parameters for reliable performance of an industrial CT scanner.
