The problems of choice of optimum modes of technological operations of the penetrant testing were studied many researchers [1]. Typically, it is decided by the analysis of penetrant indications, by use of various modes of operations. This analysis is carried out visually. To disadvantage of such method of the analysis it is possible to relate; subjective character of received evaluations; the low accuracy of evaluations; complexity of forecasting of influence of changes in operation modes on sensitivity. A consequence it is low reliability of received results. In a offered method of evaluation of efficiency of modes of technological operations of the penetrant testing lies two approaches. The first approach is based to quantitative evaluation of the characteristics of indications with use of an automated system of input, processing and analysis of the images [2]. The second approach is based to reception of mathematical and experimental dependencies of influences of changes in modes on sensitivity, with the subsequent modeling of this influence on computer.
Offered method permits: considerably to speed up process of evaluation; to conduct the analysis and forecasting of influence of certain changes in modes on sensitivity with the purpose of choice the more effective of them; effective use already being present data and constant their updating new, that provides more reliable evaluation.
