ABSTRACT

The NDT training, certification and education systems in Korea are summarised. this paper also presents the National Technical Qualification Act and compares the Korean NDT personnel qualification system with that of ISO 9712. It is urged that NDT community of the world should endeavour together to develop a universal certification system as soon as possible.
