In the present investigation a new experimental method and the theoretical approach for studying the internal structure by acoustoplastic effect (APE) is proposed. The experimental method used allows to study transformation of internal structure during the deformation of metals by APE at ultrasonic frequency. The strengthening properties and evolution of the dislocation structure of deformed metals is investigated by using this method. The theory of using APE for studying the internal structure based on solving the differential equation which describes the process of plastic deformation of metals under the action of ultrasonic is proposed.
