In this paper, ultrasonic echo method of measuring concrete pavement thickness, design of wide-band transducer, and split- spectrum technology processing echoed signals, which has give help to identify the location of echoes, are introduced. We have developed a instrument for measuring thickness of concrete, and its error is about 5% in many practical applications.
