DEVELOPMENT OF CXG-2 MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION EQUIPMENT FOR ANNULUSES

ABSTRACT
This paper introduces a new magnetic particle inspection equipment, which is used for the large-middle ring-shaped workpiece. The equipment combines thread-bar method with induced current method in resultant magnetization. The control system consists of single-chip microcomputer 8031 and the least square method is used for seeking out analytic formula of magnetizing curve of various ferromagnetic materials. According to the dimension of workpiece, the magnetizing specification can be selected automatically. This equipment has many advantages: the novel structure, the stable performance, the process automation, etc.
