ABSTRACT
The deterioration of base materials for power plant pressure vessel steel, after the neutron or ion irradiation were investigated by magnetic testing methods. The coercive force and the remnant strength were measured simultaneously for correlation of the mechanical properties or micro-structure change that can be measured precisely for evaluation of materials degradation and improvement of safety factors.
