Fluorescence is the quality of element or combination of elements to absorb the energy of light at one frequency and emit light of a different frequency. The ability of fluorescent materials to emit light in greenish-yellow wave lengths of visible spectrum depends on the intensity of U. V. light at the work piece surface.
This property of fluorescence is evaluated for establishing following applications in Bajaj Auto Ltd.
The present paper describes the methodology for on-line monitoring of adhesive bond interface quality and oil leakages from engines.
