ABSTRACT

After a brief introduction to ISO and characteristics of its standards, the present status of ISO/TC135 is presented. Its new strategic policy emphasizes; setting priorities, compliance with ISO 9000 series Quality Management System and 14000 series Environment Management System, implementation of Vienna agreement and utilization of modern communication.
