The largest number of sources of high temperature in ferrous metallurgy are blast furnaces, steel melting furnaces, bessemer converters and steel making shops.
Steel skeletons Magnitogorsk Metallogical Plant, Zlatoust Metallogical Plant (Russia) and bridge cranes (Q = 210) have been the objects of experiments.
The surface temperature of elements of steel skeletons was tested with the help of high-temperature apparatus "Calvin", (which registering boarders are from - 30 °C to + 400 °C).
The temperature was taken at different periods of technological processes in summer and in winter. The results of the experiments were used in "STATISTICA' program. There were drawn graphical diagrams which showed the changes of temperature depending on the hight and length of the shops and the hight of crane girders and main girders of bridge cranes.
