ABSTRACT

The NDT-CE Compendium is a compilation of the descriptions of 115 methods for non-destructive testing in civil engineering. It is freely accessible on the internet (www.bam.de/zfpbau-kompendium.htm) and describes each method within the frame of: Short description, Classification, Characterisation, Application, Valuation, Literatur, Addresses of Distribitors or Manufacturers, WWW-Links. Additional Information is given on Handbooks and Standards in the area of NDT-CE. The compendium is written in German. An English translation is planned. In the contribution, the user contribution to the translation process is presented.
