I will be at the ASNT Fall Conference and Quality Testing Show, OCT 14-18 in Seattle. I will report on the highlights of the conference sessions as well as the associated Quality Testing Show. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we won't be able to do 'real time' reports and interviews from the conference floor, but I will try to manage online access from the hotel.

I'd still like to start a discussion thread about the Conference themes especially for the benefit of those who could not attend.

If you find something there that interests you, just post the topic to the newsgroup "sci.techniques.testing.nondestructive" and a copy me info@ndt.net . For example, I personally found the topics below very interesting and will try to do interviews with the authors. I hope to send their comments during the Conference to the Newsgroup and include them in the UT-online 'Seattle Bulletins' section. Of course I will bring back a report for the November issue.

It would be great if participants of the Conference would post any topic to me or directly to the newsgroup as well. I'd like to hear from the companies participating in the Quality Testing show, too as long as the message includes informative technical information pertinent to the newsgroup as opposed to pure advertising.
