Ukrainian Society for Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics has the pleasure to invite you to the 3rd Ukrainian Conference and Exhibition “Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics. UkrNDT 2000” dedicated to the 10^th anniversary of foundation of the Ukrainian Society for NDT.

Conference location and dates

The Conference will be held from May 23 to 25, 2000 in the "Lesnoj" holiday centre, on the bank of the Samara river, near Dniepropetrovsk which offers everything that is required for successful communication of colleagues and relaxation after the meetings.

The list of topics below gives a guideline for contributions. Papers on other related topics will also be accepted if they fall within the objectives of the conference:

 Instruction on preparation of the paper

The papers should be of 2-4 full pages volume and should be printed 12 pt type size (Times New Roman), sheet format: 210x297. Margins: right and left 25 mm, top and bottom 20 mm. The paper name should be printed in capital letters (14 pt type size) without quotation marks or underlining. Below, leaving one line of space, print 12 pt type size, dividing by commas, the names of the authors (put initials before the family name), and name of the organisation. Below, leaving one more line of space, print the body of the text. Half-tone photos are not accepted.

Papers should be mailed to the address of Organising Committee not later than by March 31, 2000

Languages

The official languages on the Conference are Ukrainian, Russian and English. Simultaneous translation will be provided for speeches on English.

Registration fee

Members of EFNDT family Societies, before 31.03.2000: USD200, after 31.03.2000: USD230. Others, before 31.03.2000: USD220, after 31.03.2000: USD250. Registration fee are included Proceedings, accommodation, full board and transfer from airport to the "Lesnoj". Registration fee should be paid until March, 31 2000 to: Bank of New York, N.Y., SWIFT: IRVT US 3N Acc. No. 890-0060-77 in the name of Prominvestbank of Ukraine for Kiev City Branch, SWIFT: UPIB UA UX in favour the Firm "UTNKTD", acc. No. 26007301240168/840. Please, do not forget to add your name and company and purpose of payment, namely: Free aid for UkrNDT-2000.

Cancellation

In case of cancellation (not later than by April 30, 2000), the registration fee shall be refunded with deduction of a processing fee of USD 50. After April 30, 2000 no refund can be expected. All refunds will be processed after the Conference.

Exhibition

The exhibitors will be mailed the instruction on participation in the Exhibition.. The cost of 1 sq. m is USD100. All participants of Exhibition will be able additionally to place in the Proceedings the advertisement of one full page. As the Exhibition will be held in the territory of "Lesnoj" holiday centre with board and lodging, all the exhibition participants are expected to pay the registration fee as indicated above. The representatives of each company will be able to make the commercial presentation for all the participants of the Conference. For this purpose the full name of the presentation should be submitted before 01.04.2000, for inclusion into the Conference programme.
