KODAK INDUSTREX Products for Non-Destructive Testing
One hundred years of innovation-and counting

The technology behind Kodak's line of non-destructive testing (NDT) products draws on more than 100 years of imaging experience-including 50 years in NDT. Kodak research and development teams work around the clock to offer you the NDT products you need for many applications around the world.

KODAK INDUSTREX Films

he KODAK INDUSTREX line of products starts with the complete family of T-Grain emulsion films, which meet the image quality requirement of industrial radiographers. These films incorporate patented KODAK T-GRAIN emulsion technology and come in a wide range of sizes and packaging formats. KODAK INDUSTREX Films provide consistent, high image quality, increasing your productivity and saving you money. Each of these films provides:
  • Sharp, high-resolution images
  • Medium to high contrast, depending on the film type
  • Faster, sharper imaging with KODAK T GRAIN emulsion technology
  • A cold image tone for optimized viewing characteristics
  • Low grain and good signal-to-noise ratio
  • Resistance to extreme climatic conditions
  • Excellent durability and handling characteristics

KODAK INDUSTREX Film Processors and Chemicals

Processing is a crucial factor in the quality of final radiographs, so our chemical product lines and processors work together to form a winning team. Our selection of high-quality film chemicals and processors provides outstanding processing quality and consistency. We offer chemicals for automatic and manual processing, including new single-part systems that are easy to use and reduce packaging waste.

KODAK INDUSTREX Processors range from the easy-to-use INDUSTREX M35A, perfect for lower demand or on-site operations, to the high-capacity INDUSTREX M61 processor, which meets the needs of high-volume NDT radiographic customers. We've also recently added the INDUSTREX 431C processor (available in Europe) to the portfolio.

On the Road to Digital

Kodak's strategy for the transition from traditional to digital NDT is based on your wants and needs. We offer both kinds of systems, making sure that the digital technology fits with your existing workflow. When you're ready to make the move, we'll help move you at your own pace-quickly, slowly or anywhere in between.

THE KODAK INDUSTREX Digital System Family

The KODAK INDUSTREX Digital System family of products offers easy-to-use digital capability and powerful software tools to make image viewing and analysis more efficient. From portable field units to in-house solutions, our open system views and analyzes images from any digital device. You'll get better image analysis, faster results, increased cost savings and greater productivity.

Kodak digital NDT solutions are based on the proven technology-computed radiography (CR)--used in our Health Imaging systems. These systems have been proven with patients and in the marketplace, with a 24% increase in sales of Health Imaging digital systems last year. CR is fully compatible with your existing x-ray equipment, so adapting to CR is quick and easy.

Kodak offers you computed radiography solutions for NDT that can benefit you right now:

  • KODAK INDUSTREX ACR-2000 Digital System - for field applications
  • KODAK INDUSTREX ACR-2000i Digital System - for field applications
  • KODAK LS85 Film Digitizer - for digitizing film
