The theme NDT at Work for the 7th European Conference on Non-Destructive Testing was chosen in order to emphasise and promote the application of NDT to a wide range of industrial areas. The technical program with more than 500 oral and poster presentations from 45 countries has been organised in sessions related to industrial areas and to examination methods. The Book of Abstracts and the Proceedings are set out accordingly. The Proceedings will serve as a source of information and will be useful for seminars education and training and, of course, as a reference after the conference. Finally, we want to thank the members of the Technical and Scientific Committee, who planned the sessions and achieved a close connection between industry and research and development, for their excellent work.
