 One Croatia Author could not come to Rome. A colleague Mr.
Sikula who got this information just one day before the presentation tried to present the paper, but had no
material in hand. He contacted the NDT.net stand to use the paper from the CD-ROM during the
presentation. This worked out very well, Mr. Sikula was able to scroll through the paper and show
illustrations on the wall during his talk.
Should the next conference just present papers via the Internet as an online conference together with an
discussion forum? Of course also an exhibition (like our NDT.net exhibition) could be incorporated . And
we could save travel time, costs and pollution! |
