SONICCOM-256TM model TM4-P

The SonicCom-256 model TM4-P is a simple to operate yet sophisticated ultrasonic production gauging system for continuous measurements of dimensions and the internal integrity of products such as tubing, bar, plate and various other components fabricated from materials such as metals, plastic, glass and ceramic. Like any ultrasonic tester, the SonicCom-256 can inspect material and measure thickness when access is limited to one side or surface of the material. The TM4-P is the ideal system for fast, accurate and continuous dimensional monitoring and control in an in-line, production environment where critical out of tolerance conditions need to be detected to prevent costly scrap buildup or to be used as feedback to control the process. The TM4-P uses its internal computer to collect dimensional data during a continuous process inspection and provides data that can be used for statistical process control. SONICCOM-256DM

The SONICCOM-256DM is a multi-channel computer based ultrasonic instrument for in-line, ultrasonic non-contact high speed dimensional measurements with automated inspection systems. Similar to the SonicCom-256TM, the DM uses lower frequency modes to transmit ultrasonic energy through air rather that using a liquid couplant. This air gap then becomes the primary measurement of application which is used to inspect dimensional characteristics of materials and processes. The SonicCom256-DM can be used to measure heigth, flatness, tapers, thickness and diameters of various materials at production speeds.
