Season Greetings 1998/99
Do not load too much onto the New Year.
Like a sick horse it could finally
collapse under the load.

As plans are made
And difficulties arise,
You are making a great effort
But you end up with a mess.

It does not matter if you turn red from shame,
It does not help; it makes it even worse.
You have a thousand things on your mind:
Forget all those plans
And start to improve yourself!

[German by Erich Kästner 1904 - 1974]

We wish you and your loved ones,
a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah,
Peaceful Ramadan and a Happy,
Healthy and Prosperous New Year.
