Press Release
The single-channel PCUS 11 board is designed to acquire ultrasonic data at high rates for fast ultrasonic inspections. Combined with off-the-shelf such as IZFP's PCUSWare2TM, CPSTM or CPS-NTM and UTEX Scientific Technologies' WinspectTM, etc., the user can inspect a large range of components effectively and with high confidence levels.
The high speed PCI-bus allows fast data acquisition at high transfer rates. All components required for ultrasonic testing are contained on the board including the transmitter and receiver, A/D Converter. signal processor. A-scan memory. internal/external trigger, attenuator, 256-point firmware DAC, etc. The attenuator has a useful range of 110dB. The pulse repetition rate (PRR) is selectable from 4Hz to 4kHz. Two Lemo 00 receptacles provide for transducer connections, two receptacles for external trigger In/Out are available on the board.
Various software programs are available for DOS Windows 3.1 Windows95®, and Windows NT® to perform manual and/or automated ultrasonic inspections using PCUS 11 boards. Multi-channel data acquisition in combination with the appropriate software is supported for up to four stackable PCUS 11 boards. Software drivers for DOS Window95®, and Windows NT® are available for integration into custom third-party software.
