LISMAR is a medium sized engineering company which offers turnkey solutions for industrial automation applications combining electronics with mechanical expertise. LISMAR also manufactures and markets non-destructive testing devices based on Eddy current and ultrasonic technology.

Most of the LISMAR employees are qualified engineers in electronics and/or mechanics. The combination of electronic and mechanical engineering in the Lismar company secures the integration of electronic measuring and controlling systems on large machine tools.

Machine Controls
LISMAR developed a wide range of tailor-made machine controls for large machine tools. Depending on the requirements of the application, the degree of automation may vary from semi automatic up to full integration of the control with the machine. A fully integrated machine control will have control over all axes of the machine and be able to integrate testing and measuring in one operation.

NDT Roll Test
LISMAR manufacturers and markets an Eddy Current inspection system. The E.C. Tester is able to do a surface test on a roll to detect spalls and bruises while the roll is on the grinding machine.

Ultrasonic roll test compliments the E.C. test. Using the ultrasonic testing, rolls are tested to detect internal defects

Both roll inspection systems will help to prevent mill accidents.

DATAMES
The DATAMES system collects and stores the information which becomes available during the servicing of rolls in the rollshop. It will help the management to improve the grinding efficiency and to better control the management of the rolls.
